If you don’t use dye, how are your soaps colored?

We at Aniya’s Naturals believe natural ingredients are the best ingredients. When our soaps were crafted by hand, we didn’t set out to use harmful or unnecessary dyes in the process.
Instead, the organic herbs and oils we use in our herbal recipes color our soaps naturally which also results in some slight variation in from bar to bar.

Are Aniya’s Naturals soaps gentle enough for sensitive skin?

Everyone’s skin is different. We avoid the use of skin irritants like dyes, synthetic fragrances, and preservatives to keep our soap formulas all natural, gentle, and effective.
So while we cannot 100% guarantee it, we’ve done our best to keep ingredients out of our soaps that may potentially aggravate your skin.
For ultra-sensitive skin, we recommend the Unscented/Sensitive Skin formula. We encourage you to read our labels and see for yourself why Aniya’s Naturals soap is indeed gentle and safe for sensitive skin.

Essential Oils v. Fragrance Oils? Which is used in Aniya’s Naturals Soaps and what’s the difference?

Essential oils are made extracted from plants and are used for therapeutic purposes like aromatherapy or natural fragrance.
Fragrance oils, on the other hand, are synthetic and are sold as cheaper substitutes for essential oils.
Because these oils are synthetic, they are inferior in quality and aren’t used in our Aniya’s Naturals soaps. Instead, we use the plant extracted essential oils to give our soaps fragrances you love the natural way.
Unlike other brands that may use fragrances or perfumes in their “natural” soaps, we mean what we say—our scents come from nature.

Will Aniya’s Naturals help with my eczema or other skin condition?

Our all natural soaps are made without harmful ingredients and irritating products that may aggravate skin conditions like eczema.
Although our soap does not heal eczema itself, it can minimize its symptoms like redness and itching.
With eliminated use of synthetic soaps, you can see an improvement in your skin in just a few uses.

Are fatty acids natural?

Yes. Every oil/fat is made up of three fatty acids (chains of carbon and hydrogen atoms) and a glycerin-like base.
When oils are being converted to soap in the soap making process, the fatty acids found in Aniya’s Naturals organic oils react without the glycerin.
Our process retains about 10% of the glycerin found in the oils for super moisturizing soap that is indeed natural.

Do your soaps contain SLS?

No! Sodium Laurel (or Laureth) Sulfate is a synthetic surfactant often found in soaps for its ability to increase lather.
Like other surfactants, SLS is drying to the skin which may cause skin irritation and aggravate skin conditions.
Aniya’s Naturals aims to keep our soaps as natural as possible and so we do not use drying surfactants.
Instead, our lather comes from organic oils that have been properly saponified for all natural recipes that are gentle on skin.

WHATS THE BEST WAY TO STORE THE SOAP IN THE SHOWER?

To prolong the life of the soap, store in a place where it can dry between use, ideally in a place where it can receive some ventilation i.e. not on a flat surface. Check out our Aniya's Naturals Soap Saver that is designed for just this reason!

HOW DO I GET THE MOST LATHERY SUDS FROM MY SOAP?

If you have a loofah or washcloth, go ahead and lather away with one of those. Soap mitts are great and can be an efficient means to receive lather from our bars.

CAN I USE THE SOAP ON MY HAIR AND FACE?

Yes, Aniya's Naturals soap ingredients are natural and safe for the skin and hair. The soap is safe and moisturizing on your entire body as well. While not intended to fight acne or eczema, some customers have reported positive results.

CAN IT HELP WITH DRY OR SENSITIVE SKIN?

While not specifically formulated for these conditions, many customers find our soaps alleviate irritation if you have dry or sensitive skin. People who live in climates with low humidity or at high elevation may benefit as well.
Glycerin, the natural moisturizer makes up 10% of our all natural soap products to reduce flaky, dry skin and reverse the effects of damaged, irritated skin. Aniya’s Naturals keeps your skin soft and moist to promote long lasting elasticity with this gentle formula full of humectants for maximum skin hydration long after you’ve left the shower.

WHEN DOES MY ORDER SHIP?

Orders placed through our website will automatically ship within 1-2 days unless the order is placed between Friday through Sunday, which you can expect to ship on Monday.
In rare occasions or during exceptionally busy times, we do experience stockouts, which can cause a longer delay in an order. If this happens we will do our best to contact you ahead of time.

SHIPPING WITHIN THE UNITED STATES?

Our standard shipping method is via USPS Uniteds States Postal Service. Unites States Postal Service has an average delivery time of 3-5 business days. Orders to the west coast may take up to 5 business days.
Large orders may be shipped through UPS Ground. You should expect 2-5 business days for delivery once it leaves our shop.
